Another popular exercise (I got really into these in college as I loved the challenge) was to go through an old yellow pages book and select any advertisement we wanted and use every word included in it to create a poster that reflected what it was advertising, but in a different way. 

In this instance, I took a flat tire company's ad and illustrated it instead as a flatline on a medical device.
